Postcard from Sarawak, the Land of the Hornbill in Malaysia. Long House - A traditional longhouse of the Iban people of Sarawak. These community dwellings are made of ironwood and the rooms are set side by side facing a long communal hall of "ruai". The Ibans, reflective of rugged and mysterious Sarawak are generous and hospitable people.
